The current hardware version of Roadie Coach has been specifically designed and tested on acoustic, classical, round-back, and electric guitars, as well as ukuleles. We have also successfully tested recording oud and bouzouki with Roadie Coach, even though it wasn't specifically designed for such instruments.
Though Coach may attach well to other instruments, we have not tested this and as such cannot guarantee that the recording quality will be satisfactory.
Coach can attach to instruments that have a thickness between 3.7cm and 13.7cm (1.45 - 5.39 inches) and has a special pad designed specifically to attach to round-back instruments such as Ovation guitars.
