Connecting an electric guitar to Roadie Coach

Modified on Mon, 11 Sep, 2023 at 2:13 PM

First, you will need to select the shortest clamp to attach Roadie Coach to your electric guitar and make sure the ball-head pad is attached to it.

Once attached, follow the steps below:

  • Plug a jack into your guitar
  • Use a standard jack to 3.5mm adaptor to plug in through Roadie Coach's AUX IN

  • Turn Coach on and tap "Recorder" on the homescreen
  • Click on the "Soundcheck" button next to the "Record" button

  • In Stereo mode, make sure that the microphone and minijack option is selected so you can record both vocals and your electric guitar
  • If you're recording in Mono, select the minijack input option

Note: If you're using your electric guitar to learn a song through the Roadie Coach app, make sure your guitar is directly connected to Roadie Coach and that you are not using any effect pedals.
