Learning with Roadie Coach

Modified on Tue, 6 Feb at 12:22 PM

Roadie Coach has a dual mic system that helps you get feedback on both vocals and instrument! To start learning to play and sing with Roadie Coach, first, make sure it is paired with the Roadie Coach app and that it is attached to your instrument and turned on.

Once that's done, launch the Roadie Coach app and follow the steps below:

  • Press on the "More Songs" button on the home screen to see all the songs
  • Pick a song you would like to learn

Note: All public domain songs are free to access. An optional in-app subscription is required to unlock the entire library and gain unlimited access to all of Coach's licensed songs and educational content.

  • Tap on the level that you would like to practice. To learn about the differences between each level, check out this article
  • A "streaming" screen will automatically appear on your Roadie Coach hardware, indicating that it is now ready to listen
  • Begin your practice by following the in-app guidance and enjoy the real-time feedback

Note: for more accurate scoring of both your playing and singing and to avoid clipping or insufficient audio pickup, make sure to adjust the gain of the microphones on your Roadie Coach device. To perform a soundcheck follow the steps in this article.
